As you know Redbox has stopped sending out the same code to everyone for their text message network, each one is unique now. If you want a free rental every month you can sign up for that here.

They only send 1 text a month.

Bad news-Redbox is changing their codes. I just got the following email:

As a loyal redbox customer, we want to make sure you know about an upcoming change to our Monthly Movie Monday program. Beginning Monday, December 7, the Monthly Movie Monday promo code will be distributed exclusively via text message to customers signed up to the redbox SMS Network.

All codes will be unique and can only be redeemed once. If you get your code from a friend, online or in an email, the code may NOT work. The only way to guarantee your code is valid is to join the SMS Network at redbox.com.

The past 2 days I have used two different codes to get the kids movies...I used

BREAKROOM
DVDONME ..both worked at Lowes in Knightdale and Walmart in Knightdale

Got BREAKROOM today from a friend, and it worked at the Lowes Foods on Rowlack Way (behind Carmax), but I did have to use a different credit card than my normal card to get it to work even though I had never used this particular code before.
