I've been carrying around a few Energizer $1/1 Qs, as well as a Duracell $1/1 Q for a few weeks waiting for a good deal on AA batteries. There are actually a few good deals at Walgreens this week. I did the following:

4 Energizer AA rechargeables on sale for 7.99 less $1 Q = $6.99 - plus I received 2 codes for redbox movies with the purchase at the register ($2 value)
10 Duracell AA on sale for 5.99 less $1 Q = $4.99
20 Energizer AA on sale for 7.99 less $1 Q = $6.99

I also bought 3-11 oz cans of mandarin oranges for $0.39 each

My total for all was less than $25 and I have 30 regular plus 4 rechargeable AA batteries..........that's less than $0.50 per battery........pretty good IMHO!!!
